KERILYN IS HERE! The day began with me waking up at 7 a.m. to torrents of rain pounding on the windows. I stared out the window with immense sadness until about quarter of 9 when the rain magically stopped & the sun came out, all in a matter of 5 seconds. I ran to Annie’s room with excitement- “want to come to the beach?!” [grunt]. I waited a couple minutes & asked again, this time with no response, so I got ready to head down on my own. “Annie, I’m going to the beach.” “Ok, I’ll see you there in a minute.” Two hours later, still no sign. The sky started to look ominous again so I headed back to eat, get Annie up, etc. while waiting for Kerilyn. Literally EVERYTHING is closed on Sundays in Cayman (except for like, the gas station) so we started to play Bananagrams, which is kind of like Scrabble but a hell of a lot more annoying. I ended up falling asleep for a little, & then Kerilyn showed up a little after 1- she even brought me a memory card for my camera ☺ I can now photographically document our trip!!
It’s so much fun having the three of us here. We're basically the Wolfpack, be jealous. We went to the pool for a hot minute & then to the beach. I could live on this beach forever- the sand is so white & the water is super clear & warm. We saw little fishies & a crab swimming around, etc. We came back to the condo to chill for a while & start dinner- chicken parmesan & pasta. You can just call me Emeril, BAM. Anyways, that was good. I decided to take a bath for the first time in about fifteen years in the Jacuzzi bathtub….closely followed by a shower. it doesn’t matter how old I am or how cool the bathtub is, I will forever hate baths.
I’m currently all dressed up, eagerly waiting to explore Cayman nightlife as planned…..and the other girls are dead asleep. They were going to “nap”. Yeah right, it’s almost 10 p.m….. I guess we will see what tomorrow brings!
